Flexible XML-based Languages (FXL) Project Framework

The Flexible XML-based Languages (FXL) project is a open-source research project which leverages the creation/integration of domain specific languages (DSLs) and various modeling approaches (MDSD/MDA) to provide consistent, XML-based solutions for varying tasks in today’s software development, runtime and maintenance phases. Therefore, the FXL Framework provides, for example, support for XML-based intra-model and inter-model transformations using graphical pipelines and other optimized views (e.g., EMF generated editors, etc.). Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP) and feature modeling are other fields of application.
