The growth in mobile communication devices has fueled demand for Internet-enabled services that those devices can readily access. This article briefly examines some of the available wireless Internet services and details a practical server-side Java-based push solution that can provide information services to cell phones via SMS (Short Message Service) and Web form scraping.
